“Give out of what We have provided for you, before death comes to one of you and he says, ‘My Lord, if You would only grant me reprieve for a little while, I would give in charity and become one of the righteous.’ ” (Qur’an: 63: 10)
As the cases of Covid-19 are increasing, our concern for our loved ones and indeed ourselves should be at the front of our minds. Whilst taking every means to protect us in this world, only the unwise would not consider what they have prepared for the hereafter.
With this in mind, NWF have prepared some guidance for individuals on preparing for death and what we can do now to benefit us later.
If a loved one has recently passed away, then know you can still benefit them:
Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said: When a person dies, their acts come to an end, but three, recurring charity , knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious child who prays for them.
